Alex looked away, avoiding eye contact with Mira as she slowly regained her memory. He was nervous, his hands were shaking a little, but not too noticeable. His eyes wandered to the scenery. Well, the forest mainly, the car wasn't ready to go yet-- Ian was trying to recover Mira's memories. Alex felt selfish, it was Mira's choice, Ian could let go... But Alex wasn't so sure he could. He sighed, his eyes still fixed upon the forest behind.

Ian laughed. "Okay okay...I'll change the station!" he exclaimed. He turned the knob again, this time going to Mira's favorite rock music station. He then took the car out of park and pressed on the gas. The car lurched forward lazily.
Mira glanced over at Alex, seeing he was avoiding eye contact. Was he mad at her. She frowned, gently nudging his arm. "Hey...you okay?" she asked with concern in her voice.

Alex turned to Mira as she nudge his arm, he smile and gave her a simple nod, before looking away again. He knew nothing about Mira, he thought. It was strange to have feelings for her when he barely knew her. Ian on the other hand knows all her favorites... How am I right for her? His mind raced with many thoughts-- most of them were pretty negative. He sighed, lying his elbow against the glass, his breath was condensing on the glass, creating a foggy area.

Mira studied Alex curiously a moment with a concerned look on her face. Why was he upset? Was he mad at her? Maybe it was because she was acting like a best friend with Ian. She frowned, staring at her feet. 'Should I...ignore Ian then?' she thought. Mira lifted her pale brown gaze and gave a sigh. She simply moved closer to Alex, resting her head on his shoulder and simply enjoying the heat his body gave off. It made her feel warm inside...kind of fuzzy too...

Alex grinned, feeling reassured as Mira kept close. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder, keeping her close to himself as he radiated a warmness. He gazed into Mira's eyes, smiling brightly. The way Mira kept close to Alex, it just softened his ideas, it no longer bothered Alex, maybe it was good to remember her old memories.

Mira smiled, snuggling in closer to Alex. She felt reassured now that he didn't seem angry with her. She shut her pale brown eyes with a sigh of contentment. How was it one could feel so safe just because of another's touch? It seemed foreign to her...
Mira opened her eyes a moment just enough to see Ian staring back at the two with a look of envy and sadness in his eyes. Mira frowned, feeling her heart melt at the sight of this look in Ian's sea foam green eyes. She wanted to reach out to him...to embrace him and comfort him and make everything better. This, was another odd feeling for her. However, Mira does recall having this emotion in the past.
